Third international GKB summer camp in Varshets
From 16 to 19 July 2026, more than 70 participants trained with Hanshi Dr. István Adámy at the third international summer camp of GKB's Bulgarian chapter.
From 16 to 19 July 2026, Bulgarian Global Kyokushin Budokai, GKB's chapter in Bulgaria, held its third international summer camp in the spa town of Varshets, in the north-west of the country.
More than 70 participants took part: children and adults, beginners and advanced students. In four days they went through 12 sessions: intensive training, specialised lectures, a referee seminar and a Kyusho session, in which they learned the basic principles and the finer points of this art. Kyusho is one of the four pillars of GKB's system, together with Karate, Newaza and Goshin.
The camp was led by Hanshi Dr. István Adámy, President of GKB, with Shihan Petko Enchevski, GKB's national representative for Bulgaria, and Sensei István Pietrowski.
As is the tradition, a grading was held as well, and most of the candidates passed.
We thank every participant, coach and organiser for their trust, their commitment and their work. Together we showed once again the strength and the unity of Global Kyokushin Budokai.
Osu!
